In order to solve the deployment issues of the communication network in indoor hotspots, many companies and standards organizations have done a lot of research. 3GPP Rel-9 proposed to Femto cell, and multi-layer beamforming technology. As the basic version of LTE-A, 3GPP Rel-10 proposed a heterogeneous network, including uplink/downlink multiple input and output (MIMO) enhancement, multi-layer beamforming technology, Carrier Aggregation (CA) and low latency. As the enhanced version of LTE-A, 3GPP Rel-11 proposed some enhancement technologies such as TDD, CA enhancement, MIMO and multi-point cooperative transmission. Each version continues to improve the key technologies based on heterogeneous Network (HetNet), and want to flexibly deployed new base stations such as Pico base station and home base station in the area where service is concentrated as needed, thus realizing network capacity upgrade on-demand. The Pico base station and Femto base station defined are referred to as small cells in the standard at present.3GPP Rel-12 proposes small cell enhancement technology, which plays an important role in the further enhancement of the current network.Small cell enhancement technology is called as LTE-Hi in China, mainly for solving the high-frequency indoor hotspot communication. In order to develop commercial Rel-12 low-power miniaturized base station equipment in typical higher frequency bands, such as 3.5GHz, to support the key technical characteristics of LTE-Hi, and promote China's LTE-Hi base station commercial deployment as soon as possible. The LTE-Hi network and key technologies are realized, and the protocol and algorithm are studied. The LTE-Hi system-level simulation platform is built to evaluate its performance.Based on the LTE-Hi system-level simulation platform, this paper makes full use of the 3D space model and takes the influence of the antenna inclination angle on the signal transmission into the channel modeling process compared with the traditional channel model. And because dynamic TDD and dual-connection technology are introduced by LTE-Hi,this paper studies more comprehensive power control technology. Finally,the simulation results show the accuracy of the 3D channel model and the effectiveness of the power control algorithm.
