Existing automatic tracking systems also suffer from shortcomings such as susceptibility to interference,poor tracking accuracy,and the need for a follower to carry a handheld device.Aiming at the above problems,this paper designs a carrier vehicle system based on automatic tracking of motion algorithm.After using the camera and image processing technology to identify the moving target,the system tracks the moving target according to the movement of the moving object's center of mass.Without the need to carry any handheld device,it can automatically track the target in a complex environment.This paper uses the combination of image processing,embedded and communication technologies to complete the design of the automatic tracking system of the vehicle.This system consists of two parts: an auto-following vehicle and a tracked target.During the process of the auto-following vehicle detecting the tracked target,the image of the tracked target is composed of the camera rotation and the superimposed target's own motion.Therefore,this system establishes a global motion model by using a motion algorithm,and obtains unknown motion parameters in the established motion model matrix according to the positional relationship between the characteristic regions between two adjacent frames of images.Compensation makes the background of adjace nt frame images relatively static.Using the idea of background subtraction combined with four frame differences completes the detection and extraction of the followed target in the moving image.On this basis,the following target was further tracked and predicted according to the movement of the center of mass of the followed target.The feasibility of the motion algorithm used in this paper is verified by simulation experiments,and the design of the auto-following function of the following target by a load vehicle with a load of 110 kg or less is completed.The feasibility of the motion algorithm used in this paper is verified by simulation experiments,and the design of the auto-following function of the following target by a load vehicle with a load of 110 kg or less is comple ted.
