Intelligent manufacturing is a very popular technology today.Countries around the world are investing a lot of money in research and development of various intelligent manufacturing equipment.In order to improve production efficiency,product quality and automation,almost all equipment will use machine vision technology.In machine vision systems,poor image quality often causes machine vision systems to fail.The camera is the key to obtaining images with high quality.The camera must complete the calibration before application.The accuracy of the calibration results and the stability of the algorithm directly affect the accuracy of the results of the camera work,which affects the quality of the product and the stability and reliability of the equipment.Therefore,it is very important to do a good camera calibration.Based on the comparison of existing camera calibration methods,this dissertation studied a high-precision and high-efficiency camera calibration technique.The dissertation uses Halcon as the software platform for camera calibration,and uses a high-precision calibration board as the benchmark.Through the theoretical calculation of WCS,CCS,PCS,and IPCS transformations and the analysis of camera distortion models,Halcon software calibration operator Programming to achieve the calibration of camera internal and external parameters.This dissertation explains the key technologies and difficulties in camera calibration from both hardware and software aspects.The hardware part introduces the hardware selection and installation of the camera calibration system,including the working principle and model selection of the three-piece machine vision hardware(lens,camera,light source).The software part uses the Halcon vision software development tool developed by the German MVtec company,and uses threshold segmentation,Gaussian filtering,ROI extraction,edge extraction and other algorithms in image preprocessing.In the process of camera calibration,first collect 3 sets of images for different positions of 10 mm * 10 mm customized calibration plates,the number is 0 ? 10,10 ? 20 and 20 ? 30;then convert from points in the world coordinate system to Corresponding points in the camera coordinate system get the camera external parameters,and the points in the camera coordinate system are converted to corresponding points in the image coordinate system to get the camera internal parameters;combining the camera internal and external parameters can effectively eliminate image distortion and calculate the actual physical point The distance provides effective guarantee for accurate positioning and accurate measurement in the subsequent machine vision system.The design of the entire system can complete the camera calibration task well,with good stability and high operating efficiency,which lays the foundation for the practical application of machine vision.The application of the camera calibrated by this method in coin diameter measurement verifies the accuracy and stability of the calibration accuracy of this system.The highest calibration accuracy can reach 2?m,which can completely meet the needs of many industrial production.The selected Halcon vision processing software is easy to use,has rich graphics processing algorithms and fast calculation speed,and can provide the most suitable visual solution in the shortest time.In this paper,the same calibration board is grouped and calibrated multiple times to ensure the stability of the entire system.In combination with C # highlevel language programming,camera calibration and machine vision application programming can be integrated as whole,and it ensuring system integrity and program efficiency.
