With the rapid development of computer vision and digital image technology,people's access to external visual information is no longer limited to their own sensory systems,but increasingly depends on the image and video information obtained by outdoor imaging systems.However,in foggy weather,because the scene is greatly affected by the scattering of suspended particles in the atmosphere,the image and video acquired by the imaging device have a decrease in coptrast and color attenuation,which seriously affects the imaging system's useful information.In addition,the appearance of foggy weather will also have a certain negative impact on navigation and traffic management of ships on water.In this context,from the perspective of image restoration,this paper proposes a video defogging algorithm based on the relationship between the background separation of the front of the video image and the frame,which realizes the real-time defogging of the video image and achieves a good defogging effect.Firstly,before implementing the defogging process on the video image,this article uses a linear classifier generated by SVM support vector machine training to classify whether the video image is foggy.As a result,the foggy video is processed further.Secondly,for the judgment result is a foggy video image,this paper proposes a video image defogging algorithm based on front background separation and inter-frame relationship to defog it.The algorithm uses a single image dark channel defogging algorithm as the background.First,the video is framed,and the background.difference method is used to separate the foreground and background images of the video frame.Then calculate the atmospheric light value of the first frame background image and set a fixed threshold,and determine whether to recalculate the atmosp.heric light value according to the difference between the atmospheric light values of the previous and subsequent frames.For the foreground image,this article uses the periodic update method to multiplex the atmospheric light value and transmittance of the previous frame of the foreground image,and set the optimal fixed interval to maximize the dehazing effect of the video image after multiplexing atmospheric light value and transmittance Good condition.Finally,the background image after defogging is fused to obtain the video frame after defogging,so as.to realize the clear processing of the degraded video image.This algorithm greatly reduces the complexity of the video defogging algorithm,can realize real-time defogging processing of degraded video images,and has high engineering application value.At last,this paper designs and implements a degraded video image defogging system based on VS2010 to verify the effectiveness of this algorithm.The system first classifies whether the input video is foggy,and then performs defogging processing according to the classification result and displays the objective evaluation indexes of each video frame before and after defogging in real time.By synchronously playing the video images before and after defogging,the effect of the video image defogging algorithm is more intuitively displayed.
