Intermodal transport is an advanced form of transportation organization and an important development stage of integrated transportation.When carrying out the intermodal transport business,intermodal transport documents undertake many functions such as delivery receipt,transportation contract,property right certificate,and delivery certificate,which are closely related to logistics efficiency and logistics costs.The paper documents and electronic documents currently used have shortcomings such as repeated filling of content,slow production speed,and difficulty in information sharing,which are huge resistance to cost reduction and efficiency increase in the logistics industry.Since the birth of blockchain technology,it has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.Blockchain technology,which is a collection of various technologies such as smart contracts,asymmetric encryption,consensus algorithms,and timestamps,has the characteristics of automatic script execution,peer-to-peer transmission,information traceability,and non-tamperable data.The application of blockchain technology to digitally upgrade intermodal transport documents can effectively solve the problems of repeated content filling,slow production speed,and difficulty of information sharing in the current intermodal transport documents.This thesis innovatively proposes the concept of intermodal transport digital document covering all participants in the entire intermodal transport process and the top-level business model of intermodal transport under the background of digital documents,and constructs intermodal transport consensus mechanism based on improved the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance algorithm.The thesis includes the following main researches:sorting out the various traditional documents involved in the whole process of intermodal transport,studying the content and function of each document,and collecting the current standards on intermodal transportation documents.The main content of the digital intermodal transport document is obtained by integrating the four transportation modes of aviation,road,railway and waterway,as well as the main documents involved by the customs and other supervision units.Through comparative analysis of the intermodal transport business model in the context of traditional documents and digital documents based on blockchain technology,the characteristics of intermodal transport digital documents are summarized.Transform the business requirements of traditional intermodal transport documents such as shipping receipts,transportation contracts,property rights certificates,and pick-up substitution into the functional requirements of the intermodal transport digital document system,and design the intermodal transport digital document division system architecture and application process.Using the structure of main contract plus tool contract,we designed the Ethereum smart contract of the intermodal transport digital document,and completed the development,deployment,and routine security testing.Considering the particularity of the application scenarios of intermodal transport,and adjusting the main picking method based on the practical Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm,a consistent mechanism for intermodal transport was generated and simulation experiments were completed.Simulating the Ethereum blockchain environment,using the Truffle framework to create a decentralized application,the user function of the intermodal transport digital document system is realized.
