Research On The Status,problems,and Countermeasures Of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature Digitization

Vietnamese Han Nom Literature is a collection of documents with regional and cultural characteristics of Vietnam under the historical background that Chinese culture has been widely spread in Vietnam.As an important member of the East Asian Chinese character-based cultural circle,Vietnam has left a large number of Han Nom Literature written in Chinese characters and Nom characters since ancient times.These documents have rich historical and cultural values,uncovering through which neighboring countries(including China)can be deeply understood and within the cultural community of East Asian Chinese character-based culture circle.Using computer technology to promote Vietnamese Han Nom Literature digitization is an important method for Han Nom Literature preservation and study.This article focuses on the status,problems,and countermeasures of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature digitization.It summarizes the philological knowledge and digitalization status of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature,and discusses the specific problems in the process of literature digitization.The research contents include:summarizing the bibliographical overview,the literature digitization development history,and the digitalization status of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature.Discussing insufficient professionals and lack of social participationin in the process of Han Nom literature digitization.Analyzing and evaluating the establishment of Han Nom Literature professional letter database,word database,and comparative translation database.Analyzing the improvement of image information recognition technology.Researching on the intellectual property issues related to Han Nom Literature digitization,with summarizing rationalization recommendations.Disscussion of status of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature digitization helps to sort out the characteristics of Han Nom literature and the basic situation of Han Nom Literature digitization.Putting forward corresponding countermeasures to the problems of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature digitization helps to improve deficiencies,and to promote work of Vietnamese Han Nom Literature digitization scientifically and efficiently.
