The development of underwater wireless sensor networks has very broad application prospects.At present,countries around the world are paying more and more attention to the related research of underwater networks.However,due to the characteristics of long delay and large energy attenuation of underwater acoustic channels,the mature network protocols on land cannot be directly applied to underwater networks.Therefore,according to the characteristics of the underwater network,special underwater network communication research has certain engineering application value.Underwater network MAC protocol is the key technology of underwater network,which determines the allocation of underwater acoustic channel resources,which will directly affect the performance of underwater network.This paper systematically introduces the relevant content of the underwater wireless sensor network and the MAC protocol,compares the existing MAC protocols at home and abroad,and summarizes the evaluation indicators and challenges.Based on the analysis of the application background,this study firstly carried out non-uniform clustering of the underwater network.Through simulation comparison,it was concluded that the energy consumption when the data transmission and aggregation in the clustered state is lower and the network life cycle is longer.Based on the analysis of the traditional TDMA time slot allocation protocol,in view of its shortcomings of clock asynchronization and waste of time slot allocation,a dynamic time slot allocation algorithm based on TDMA protocol is proposed,and clock synchronization is performed through the Tri-Message algorithm,and According to the distance between nodes and the size of data,data aggregation is performed.Through simulation comparison,the dynamic time slot allocation algorithm based on TDMA protocol is better than TDMA protocol and ALOHA protocol in underwater network throughput and packet loss rate.Aiming at the characteristics of long communication distance between cluster head node and sink node,high network delay and large energy consumption,considering the waiting time and backoff time of cluster head node,a dynamic backoff inter-cluster transmission MAC protocol is proposed.Through simulation comparison,the dynamic backoff inter-cluster transmission MAC protocol is better than ALOHA protocol and CW-MAC protocol in underwater network throughput and packet loss rate.
