Passive radar with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)waveform which based on digital broadcast and television signals has become a research hotspot.Because it adopts OFDM waveform signal with good ambiguity and anti-multipath capability as a third-party illumination,it has the advantages of green environment protection,improved wartime survivability,low cost,easy radar networking,good low-altitude coverage and so on.However,with the development of signal processing algorithms for passive radar with OFDM waveform,the complexity of the signal processing system often leads to the real-time performance of the signal processing cannot be satisfied,so it is necessary to improve the signal processing speed forpassive radar with OFDM waveform.Based on this requirement,this paper designs and implements a parallel passive radar with OFDM waveform signal processing based on GPU architecture,and applies it to the passive radar system software.The details are as follows:1)The key technologies of radar signal processing for passive radar with OFDM waveform are Studied.On this basis,a parallel signal processing scheme based on waveform characteristics under GPU architecture is proposed.At the same time,in order to ensure that signal processing can run efficiently on the GPU and make full use of GPU cache resources such as shared memory,this paper optimizes and improves the implementation scheme according to the characteristics of each signal processing algorithm.2)Combining with the requirements of radar signal processing of passive radar,a passive radar system software is implemented by using QT.And the GPU parallelization scheme of passive radar with OFDM waveform signal processing proposed in this paper is applied to the software;By combining with MATLAB hybrid programming technology,multi-threading technology and QT signal and slot characteristics,and using MATLAB to handle picture display and radar track processing,a radar system software which can provide good interaction for users is developed.3)Using typical passive radar with OFDM waveform data for simulation experiments,and the proposed scheme,algorithms of each processing module and software are tested and analyzed.The test results show that,compared with the serial implementation on MATLAB,this scheme can effectively reduce the time required for each link of the signal processing process,and can be applied to the passive radar software,providing a feasible basis for the real-time signal processing for passive radar with OFDM waveform.
