Passive radars have become an important research area of modern radars for their excellent performance in anti-elint, anti-electronic counter-countermeasure, anti-stealth targets, anti-radiation missile, anti-extra low flight. However, once adversaries take advantage of our radar signals to do targets detection and location, it will become a serious threat to our radar, so it is necessary to study the anti-passive detection. The anti-passive detection is the technology that prevent adversaries' radars from taking advantage of our radar signals to do targets detection and location. For the anti-passive detection system which is composed of a host radar and interferometer, this paper studies the anti-passive detection achieved by the host radar and interferometer's antenna and transmitted signal design. The main contributions of the dissertation are as follows:1. Analyses of the bistaic radar characteristic. The analyses are conducted on all kinds of relationship under the bistaic radar geometrical restriction and the performace of coherent detection which are the theoretical bases for our studies. Upon this analyses, computer simulation is done.2. Radar antenna and interferometer antenna design. We give the method how to control the interferometer antenna radiation pattern's wide null to coincide with the radar antenna radiation pattern's mainlobe, and analyse the spatial orthogonality between the host radar and interferometer.3. Radar transmit signal design. We introduce the characteristic of some representative signals, derive their ambiguous function and study the ability of anti-passive detection.
