With the development of technology,LED display types are becoming more and more abundant,and transparent display applications are becoming more and more widespread.But in the field of LED transparent display,High transparency is difficult due to excessive signal lines controlling the LED array.Aiming at the problem of poor transparency of LED display,this paper designs and develops a new type of grid screen and its control system.The system maximizes the transparency of the display.Based on the principle of LED illumination and the principle of control,this paper proposes the use of latitude and longitude array wiring method to design a new type of grid display that uses fewer traces to control more LED chips.Therefore,control lines of the display screen are greatly decreased.At the same time,the display is addressed by the code control method to realize real-time control of the display screen.A combination of column scan driving and pulse width modulation is proposed to control the gray level of the display screen to realize the video display.At last,a new grid screen control system was designed.By designing a variety of different types of LED pedestals,using a diagonally symmetrical arrangement,using a multi-wire routing method with longitude and latitude crossing,to complete the connection between the LEDs.The system includes five modules for decoding,storing,controlling,processing and transmitting video source information.The video decoding module decodes the video source information received by the DVI interface into 24-bit RGB data,and stores it in the video storage module through the video processing module.Then,through the joint action of the video control module and the video processing module,the color video data of 16M color is converted into monochrome data or color data of multiple gray levels by gray level conversion.Finally,the serial data is transmitted to the transparent grid screen through the video transmission module to realize multi-gray level control.At the same time,the video control module receives the control signal of the host computer.Therefore,the display mode can be changed in real time according to the specifications of the display.According to this design method,this paper designs a three-wire transparent grid screen and its control system.The column scan pulse modulation method is used to realize the display of multiple gray values at a refresh rate of 30Hz per second.The simulation results and on-board debugging of the design results verify the correctness of the design.
