In recent years,the security management of key areas has become an important issue,which requires higher and higher accuracy and reliability of video monitoring system.Traditional video monitoring system has been difficult to meet the increasing demand,so the research of intelligent video monitoring system software with video analysis and understanding function has high engineering application value.This paper focuses on the research and implementation of a target fusion detection algorithm based on visible and infrared images,and based on this core algorithm,an all day time photoelectric patrol monitoring system software is designed and implemented.The software system can detect and alarm the target in the image scene,and realize the function of intelligent monitoring.Aiming at the fusion detection module,a fusion detection algorithm for moving objects is studied and implemented.For visible images,a multi-feature based moving object detection algorithm is implemented based on texture features.The algorithm uses color feature(RGB)and scale invariant local ternary pattern texture features to build background model,and uses foreground update factor and background update factor to update model based on conservative update model.For infrared image,an infrared moving target detection algorithm combining three frame difference and edge detection is studied and implemented.After the candidate target points are obtained by edge detection and three frame difference,the real target points are obtained by OR logic.For visible and infrared detection results,a decision-level image fusion criterion is used to fuse heterogeneous information.The fusion criterion obtains the final detection results by setting different fusion methods for the four detection results of two sensors.The fusion detection algorithm can deal with complex environment,has better detection effect,and can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of the system to real-time alarm.The software of all day time photoelectric patrol monitoring system is divided into initialization module,photoelectric patrol control module,fusion detection module,alarm module,data storage/playback module and exception handling module by modular design idea.The software is implemented by algorithm-oriented software framework.Data module and exception handling module are added to the software framework,which improves the efficiency and stability of the software system.Data module manages image matrix through tree structure,and exception handling module captures and processes the abnormal situation in the software operation.Based on this software framework,the software of all day time photoelectric patrol monitoring system can develop and design each component independently,and upgrade and maintain more simply and efficiently.
