With the rapid development of our society and economy,the number of vehicles is also increasing rapidly.Road accidents are endless.This has brought great trouble to the traffic police.In the continuous development of computer technology,information technology,mobile technology and intelligent transportation system,vehicle mobile query field has made great progress,to the relevant vehicle information through the mobile phone can be real-time query,make the traffic police accident scene investigation work and work efficiency has been greatly improved,so the research about this system have certain theoretical and practical significance.This research regards vehicle recognition project in traffic field as the development background,and carries on the related design research to the vehicle mobile query system based on Android system platform.The emphasis is on the recognition technology of license plate image.At the same time,it develops and designs the vehicle information mobile query system based on Android.The main research and development work is as follows: Firstly,the vehicle information mobile query system at home and abroad is developed.The development trend of information query system is studied,and the application technology,database system and database connection technology of Android mobile operating system are analyzed,which lays a technical theoretical foundation for the whole development work.Secondly,the system requirements are analyzed.According to the selected system mode,the related functions of the system are classified,and the functions of the system are simply analyzed.The B/S architecture is used to integrate mobile computing technology into the system.Then the database used in the system is designed in detail,using the SQL Server database technology,and the related database tables used in the system are designed.At the same time,using the system development technology based on VC++,the server background is designed and implemented.In addition,the handheld client of the system,mainly the recognition algorithm of license plate image,is designed and implemented in detail.For the location of license plate,jump point technology and geometric feature capture are used to achieve the target of license plate image recognition,which can accurately locate the position of license plate.The relevant rules of threshold are used to split the number of license plate and identify the number of license plate.After the design and implementation of the system,the related test of the system is completed to determine the function and performance of the system.Through these tests,the system functions designed by this development meet the pre-requirements,and the server can effectively handle the relevant service requests.
