Research On Glusterfs Architecture And Performance Optimization Of Distributed File System

Mass Storage file System used to store large amounts of data,Mass Storage System can linear scaling.It increases the complexity of file System.Mass storage system can be linearly extended,which increases the complexity of the file system.Ceph storage is mature and stable,and RBD block devices have good performance.RBD block devices can be managed and used in Openstack.However,in Ovirt virtualization platform,the function of Ceph block devices can not be well integrated.By building a highly available ISCSI cluster based on Ceph block devices,we can provide stable,high performance and high reliability storage services to the virtualization platform.First,distributed file system and cluster related research,analyze the overall architecture and function of Ceph.Including the development status of high availability cluster technology and distributed file system,the comparative study of distributed file system,the application of Ceph block device in various industries including virtualization industry.Secondly,the overall design.Analysis and study of Ceph storage reliability design,cluster high availability technology,preliminary design of the overall system plan.Thirdly,the realization of the underlying data reliability and the access to RBD block devices using ISCSI interface.This paper mainly expounds the reliability of the underlying data and the realization principle of high availability,the method and configuration of accessing Ceph block device by ISCSI interface.Next,we design the high availability function of ISCSI cluster.Through floating IP technology,cluster no machine head access and eliminate single point failure.Finally,an experimental environment is built to verify the correctness of the whole scheme,complete the function and reliability testing of the system,and apply to the Ovirt desktop virtualization platform.This paper mainly research distributed file system Ceph,including the architecture and principles,and analyzes the relevant reliability strategies.Design high availability ISCSI storage cluster,verify the related functions and design through testing.
