With the increasing demand for intelligence and automation in the manufacturing industry,machine vision is widely used in various fields as the core technology to improve the production efficiency and automation of enterprises.Target detecting and tracking technology is an important research content of machine vision,however,in the complex and changeable industrial workshop,how to detect and track the target accurately and stably has become a major problem.This paper studies the detecting and tracking technology of disk workpiece based on machine vision,which provides higher accuracy and stronger robustness when automatic feeding bin is working.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,according to enterprises' technical requirements to determine the overall design scheme of the disk detecting and tracking system,select the key equipment to meet the performance indicators of the hardware system,and set up a hardware platform for detecting and tracking system.Secondly,this paper studies image processing algorithm based on machine vision and determines the most suitable detecting and tracking technology;considering automatic feeding bin works in complex background,a method of dynamically acquiring the region of interest based on HSV color space is proposed,and using the two-peak method to obtain the threshold value,combining temporal differencing and background subtraction to detect the motion target;the camera is calibrated to eliminate image distortion,combining with Canny operator and the prior knowledge of disk workpiece to extract the edge,and using a fit circular frame to track the workpiece.Finally,detecting and tracking system is designed and has many functions including acquisition,processing,analysis and display of images,and user operation interface.The results of field experiment show that dynamically acquiring the region of interest can eliminate the noise in the image;the accuracy of the edge detection method based on prior knowledge satisfy the system inspection requirements;the detecting and tracking system for disk workpiece can achieve the expected goal.
