Automated Guided Vehicle(AGV),one of the most important devices in modern automated logistics systems,is widely applied in automated material transportation in flexible manufacturing workshops and logistics management in storage centers,which plays important roles in reducing the production cost and improving transportation efficiency of enterprises.As the number of automated guided vehicles in the AGV system increases,the transportation tasks in the manufacturing plant become more and more arduous,causing the task scheduling of the system becomes more difficult.This paper takes the AGV material transportation project of a power company's automated assembly line as the research background,and carries out the following research on the task scheduling problem of the AGV system:(1)After building the overall structure of the AGV system in the manufacturing workshop,we introduce the functions of each component,and explain the role and importance of AGV system scheduling.(2)This paper analyzes various constraints encountered in the intelligent scheduling process of the AGV system.Then we regard the type and quantity of the AGVs as resources,consider the influence of different combination of AGV delivery methods on the distribution task,in order to reduce the material delivery time,which is considered as the optimization goal.Finally,a multi-mode resource-constrained task scheduling model is constructed.(3)The basic particle swarm optimization algorithm is improved to the discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm,which is used to solve the test set in the PSBLIB standard library,and its running results are compared with other optimization algorithms to prove the effectiveness of our algorithm.Then the optimization algorithm is applied in the AGV task scheduling problem from the example manufacturing workshop,therefore an optimized task scheduling scheme is obtained.(4)For different task batches,the intelligent optimization algorithm gives the corresponding scheduling strategy when the priority and quantity of the transportation tasks vary.The simulation results show that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can adapt to a certain degree of environmental change.The system construction of AGV task scheduling in manufacturing workshop is expounded to realize the practical application of the research results.
