Research On The International Construction Of Xi'an City Under The Data Visualization Perspective

The arrival of the era of big data has changed the source of media's access to information and the audience's requirements on media's communication content and methods.In order to adapt to the new communication environment and needs of the audience,data visualization as an innovative communication method has been widely used by the media.In the field of journalism and communication,data visualization is usually combined as data journalism across fields.But in the new communication environment,data visualization is not only applied in data journalism.In this context,the domestic research on cities has gradually turned to data-driven,and the complicated and professional study of urban data needs to be carried out through data visualization.The limitation of global resources leads to increasingly fierce competition among cities.As the embodiment of urban strength and the condition of attracting investment,"international city" has become the development direction of all major cities.In 2009,xi 'an issued a document at the national level declaring that "Xi'an will become an international metropolis".How international is Xi'an today? The main content of this study is to study the development process of Xi'an international city.In the research path,the visualization works are created mainly by means of data visualization,so as to effectively combine " Xi' an international city construction" and "data visualization creation".This paper takes "Xi'an's international city construction" as the research object to create data visualization works,and summarizes the relevant theories and experience of "Xi'an's international city construction" and "data visualization" :Based on the research at domestic and abroad,a visualized index system for the internationalization process of Xi'an was established,and the development process of xi 'an as an international city from 2009 to 2018 was evaluated according to the system.The result shows that the scale of Xi'an was the fastest growing,followed by the living environment of citizens,and its international appeal was low.
