The research of eye tracking technology for smart head display is of great significance for improving the natural interaction and popularization of smart head display.At present,the smart head display generally has problems such as high price,low resolution,and lack of natural interaction,and eye tracking technology is the key to solving this series of problems.When the smart head display is combined with the eye tracking technology,the user can first perform a series of interactive operations with the eye instead of the mouse,thereby increasing the naturalness of human-computer interaction.Secondly,the human eye vision principle can be used to render the area around the gaze point to improve its resolution and reduce the resolution away from the gaze point area,thereby reducing the expensive price of the smart head display.Based on the significance of eye tracking technology to smart head display,this paper focuses on the related algorithms of eye tracking technology under smart head display.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)The eye movement feature extraction algorithm and gaze point estimation algorithm in eye tracking technology are mainly introduced.In the whole eye tracking technology process,eye movement feature extraction and gaze point estimation are the two most important steps.The eye movement feature extraction algorithm extracts eye movement features associated with the line of sight of the human eye in the human eye image.The gaze point estimation algorithm estimates the direction of the human eye line of sight according to the geometric structure of the human eye or the known calibration point,combined with the extracted eye movement features.(2)Cooperated with Shenzhen Palm Network Co.,Ltd.to develop a real-time eye tracking system for smart head display.The palm network company provides the hardware device smart head display.This article develops a real-time eye tracking system based on the equipment provided by the company.It is efficient,convenient,low-cost,and portable.In the process of developing the system,this paper firstly analyzes the hardware structure of the intelligent head display device.According to the hardware characteristics of the smart head display,the whole system is designed as the gaze point core module and the Unity plug-in module,and then The two modules perform a more detailed functional division to ensure that the system obtains an accurate fixation point.Secondly,after the overall structure of the system and the design of each functional module,through a large number of literature readings,a number of eye tracking algorithms that meet the hardware characteristics of intelligent head display were selected,and the performance of the algorithm was compared and analyzed.The eye tracking algorithm used.Experiments show that the accuracy of the pupil feature extraction algorithm developed in this paper is 96%,and the average frame rate is 63 frames per second.It meets the requirements of the smart head display for real-time eye tracking system.Apply the system directly to the smart head display.
