The line of sight is refers to the human eye gaze direction, reflects the focus of a person,it is a hot topic in computer vision and pattern recognition in recent years. It is hoped that through a simple eye expression the computer could unders-tand our thoughts. The gaze tracking technology has a wide range of application inpsychology, iconology, software engineering, pattern recognition,human-computer interaction,Medicine, advertising psychology, military,it possesses very strong practicalva-lue.Based on understanding of the research status of the gaze tracking and related algorithm, this paper studied Combining the eye gaze information with head rotation information for real-time tracking. The main work is as follows:(1)Comparing the various pupil center positioning algorithm and final proposed An algorithm that combine radial symmetry withimage convert selection which ispartially restricted with a threshold is presented to detect the pupil center,it could extremely avoid detecting the corner of the eye or glass frame as the pupil center, this method could be used in A variety of lighting conditions. Finally choice the left and right corner of eye as the feature points, the center of the two points as benchmark for eye gaze tracking.(2)Build 3d coordinates with camera as origin, get face rotation quaternion and transform as the rotation of the head for head movements estimates;Establishing a model of gaze tracking, which has nothing to do with the position, people could move freely in the field of view of the Kinect,so it is more comfortable.(3)We determined the maximum area of interest which can be observed at a given distance is determined.Comprehensive analysis of the actual situation of head movement and eye movement,Finally, the actual fixation point is converted to the screen coordinates to facilitate the detection of precision.
