Machine vision technology is an advanced detection technology,which has good stability,flexibility and high degree of automation.When applied in industrial production,machine vision technology can greatly improve production efficiency and reduce the cost of quality.In this paper,based on the study about hardware,lighting system,tooling design,image processing and system calibration etc.,machine vision technology is successfully implemented in the field of recliner testing including detection of recliner models and delivery angle,and the main contents are organized as follows:(1)According to the geometric characteristics of the object to be measured,required precision of machine vision system is defined,and further calculation determines the required megapixels of image acquisition device;(2)The influence of light source and installation on image acquisition is studied.The results show that: arc light source + high angle installation can reduce measuring error and get clear image of multi-characteristics at the same time;(3)A floating clamping device is developed and compared with traditional positioning tooling.The results show that the floating clamping device has much higher positioning accuracy than traditional tooling in delivery angle measurement due to its function of self-aligning,which leads to good consistency;floating clamping device can be repaired after wearing which has no influence on positioning accuracy;(4)Build the transforming relationship between image coordinate system and world coordinate system through study on calibration principle of ideal linear and nonlinear model,which can help calculate the physical dimensions of objects;(5)The image processing of recliner vision system is studied.The results show that,compared to single constraint,the misdetection rate and scrap rate under multi-constraint decrease sharply.
