Nowadays,It is more and more attention that paid to the development of traditional handicrafts.The virtual museum evolved from virtual reality technology is particularly important in the promotion of traditional handicrafts.There is a difficult problem of virtual reality technology that is real-time rendering of virtual scenes.If the scene is too simple,it is difficult to meet the user's visual needs,but the rendering speed will be too slow when the scene is too complicated.Levels of Detail(LOD)technology has a significant effect on solving this problem.The choice of model selection is the key to LOD technology.Currently,it is based on distance implementation,ignoring the subjective state of mind.Therefore,a dual LOD algorithm based on user interest and physical condition constraints is proposed.In order to promote the inheritance and development of Qinghai traditional handicrafts technology,this paper establishes the Qinghai Traditional Handicraft Museum with WebGL technology.The main research contents include: Firstly,digitize the traditional handicrafts technology in Qinghai,establish the Qinghai traditional handicraft knowledge base and multimedia library,demonstrate Qinghai traditional handicrafts technology from the aspects of culture and history.Diversified the traditional handicrafts technology in Qinghai and completed the corresponding modeling,voice introduction and video production.Secondly,the current traditional LOD algorithm was studied,and the visual field eccentricity was introduced as the physical condition into the LOD algorithm constraint;then exploring the factors that cause user interest in the 3D scene,and discovering the user's browsing frequency and browsing time of the exhibits,these factors can reflect to a certain extent the user's interest in the traditional handicraft exhibits,this paper give weights to the two methods to reflect the user's interest.Then this paper propose the dual constraint LOD algorithm of physical conditions and user interest;Finally,the collision detection based on WebGL virtual scene is improved,and the static model is detected by ray method,which makes it more suitable for the use of virtual museum.This paper adopts B/S architecture to realize the development of Qinghai traditional handicraft virtual museum based on WebGL,records the user's interest in traditional handicrafts technology,can help the real museum to grasp the tourists' interest and strengthen the cultural communication in this aspect.
