The fashion circle is popular with a very important theory-six seconds determinism.This means that the reader only needs six seconds to judge whether a magazine meets its own reading taste.The cover is the most compelling part of a magazine,and it is also an important sign to verify whether it can motivate readers to continue reading.The cover of the fashion magazine?FHM?,with its metaphorical title,the nude female image has been controversial since the beginning of the publication.At the same time,it is impossible to refuse the?FHM?for many years to maintain the number one sales of men's fashion magazines,the market share of the number one throne.Behind many awards,there are hidden deep meanings that are not discovered by readers.From the perspective of framework theory,this paper analyzes the 113 female characters in the cover of?FHM?from 2008 to 2018,and explores the common characteristics of female cover characters,and combines the theory of frame to show the pattern of female images on the cover.Inductive and generalized,it is found that the distribution of the female images on the cover of the?FHM?mainly has the following three frameworks:the sexy framework,the metaphor framework,and the narrative framework.In the research content,the first chapter of this paper gives a detailed overview of the development and positioning of?FHM?and the definition and connotation of the framework theory.The second chapter quantifies the female images on the cover of?FHM?,and classifies them from the perspectives of demographics,female interactions,women's dress and exposure,women's clothing and clothing color,and summarizes the rules.The third chapter describes and analyzes the statistical graphs summarized in the quantitative research,summarizes the framework characteristics of the female images on the cover of?FHM?,and analyzes the form in which the framework is expressed.The fourth chapter of this paper is based on the second chapter,the reasons for the analysis of the visual framework of female images.The fifth chapter puts forward the problems in the presentation of the female image in?FHM?and gives suggestions for improvement,including avoiding the simplification of women's occupation,avoiding the lowering of female pictures,giving the right to speak between the two sexes,Strengthen women's contribution to society,not just to the aesthetic performance of women's physiological structure.The paper analyzes the statistical data of quantitative research,and combines the rules of visual symbols to develop the visual characteristics of women.It uses content analysis,interview and literature review methods,and combines theory with practice to analyze women in men's clothing.The content of the visual framework and the problems in the process of communication,and provide feasible suggestions for the presentation of the female image of the future cover of?FHM?.
