The microwave energy transmission system can transmit energy in the form of microwave wireless energy for long distance and high power.The rectenna is a key component in the microwave power transmission system.At present,the operating frequency of most microwave rectifying antennas is the traditional microwave frequency band,such as the ?-band and S-band,but the research on the rectifying antenna working in the millimeter wave is not a lot.However,the millimeter-wave rectifying antenna has a transmission distance farther than that of the conventional rectifying antenna under the same aperture area,and because of its natural miniaturization,it is more suitable for integrated system design.Therefore,millimeter wave rectennas have great potential for development.Based on the research on the related aspects of rectifying antennas at home and abroad,this paper studies and designs high-efficiency rectifying antennas and their arrays working in Ka-band with high efficiency as the main index and practical application requirements.The research and innovation are as follows:First,the rectifier diodes were screened,and the model parameters of the diodes operating at 35 GHz were corrected by simulation and experiment.Then the common rectifier circuits were simulated and analyzed.Next,the electromagnetic simulation software was used to design.Several kinds of rectifier circuits working at 35 GHz have been processed and tested for several kinds of rectifier circuits.Finally,based on the analysis of experimental results,the feed mode of the rectifier circuit has been innovatively improved.Secondly,according to the antenna design principle,the Ka-band slot-fed microstrip patch antenna is researched and designed.Then,based on the miniaturization requirements of practical applications,an integrated design of rectenna based on conjugate matching is proposed.Based on the integrated design theory,several kinds of Ka-band rectennas were designed,processed and tested.Finally,the experimental results were analyzed,and the conclusion that the integrated rectenna has improved the RF-DC conversion efficiency of the rectifier circuit has been obtained..Thirdly,according to the practical application requirements of microwave energy transmission system,the idea of modular design of rectenna antenna array is proposed.Then,an 8×8 slot feed patch receiving antenna array is designed and used as part of the rectenna.The rectifying antenna array unit module is next;according to the uneven energy density of the energy receiving plane,based on the idea of the partitioned molecular array,the rectifying antenna array unit module is built into a rectifying antenna array;finally,a DC synthesis with dynamic load matching function is designed.Circuit,and completed and tested a 1m × 1m rectenna array.
