The research on microwave energy transmission technology has always been one of the most attractive research topics in the world.It realizes wireless energy transmission between two places.Microwave energy transmission technology can solve many difficulties of the wired energy transmission,achieving more energy transmission in special fields,and making substantial breakthroughs in solving many practical problems.This technology has been applied to space solar power station systems,the microwave energy driving of UAV,the power supplying of robot,and so on.The rectenna is one of most important components of microwave energy transmission system.It is also one of the research hotspots at home and abroad.In this paper,the research on the literature related to the rectenna is carried out.It is found that most researches on rectenna are on the research of low and medium power rectenna at home and abroad.Researches on medium and high power rectenna have the problem that both high output power and high rectification efficiency are difficult to achieve.In this paper,the research and design of medium and high power rectennas are studied.It has some innovations and breakthroughs in output power,size and application of individual rectenna units.And the main research woks and innovations are as follows:1)Firstly,analyzing the effects of rectifier efficiency and tolerable input power derived from the type of rectifier and the SPICE parameters of Schottky by ADS simulation and experimental verification,then selecting the sort of rectifier circuit and rectifier diodes suitable for medium and high rectifier.2)Four rectifier under different input power are designed,comparing the best load value obtained by fitting the output U-I curve of each rectifier circuit according to the U-I curve analysis of the equivalent model of rectifier circuit with the best value of obtained by experiment results of the each rectifier,verifying the correctness of the equivalent model of rectifier circuit for providing more qualitative references for research on rectenna array.3)Four rectenna units are designed to research rectenna array.the experiment results of rectenna array are consistent with the results obtained by qualitative analysis using the equivalent model of the rectifier circuit that has been previously verified.4)Finally,based on the research of medium and high power rectenna,reducing the size of rectifier circuit by using lumped component matching method and reducing the size of antenna by the short-circuit effect of radiation patch,then reducing the size of rectenna by stacking the already designed rectifier circuit and antenna,realizing the design of a compact wireless energy receiving device for practical application.
