The research and application of wireless sensor networks(WSN)has attracted people's attention.Unlike wired and traditional wireless networks, wireless sensor networks are mainly composed of a large number of tiny and simple nodes that are randomly deployed in unattended operating areas and can operate in any environment. It is often likely to suffer many security threats and attacks.Key management is an essential security service that provides security features that enable sensor nodes to communicate with each other using encryption.Key management is mainly to solve the problem of establishing a shared security key between two communication sensor nodes. This thesis summarizes and analyzes existing research schemes, focusing on putting forward two innovative aspects from distribution and clustering. The main work and contributions are summarized as follows:Firstly,a random key pre-distribution scheme based on hash function is proposed. Before the key distribution, the scheme first processes the key pool, and then uses the Hash function to split the key pool keys into several key chains, thereby improving the relationship among the keys. This greatly improves the connectivity of wireless sensor networks. Before being deployed to the node, the key is pre-processed by Hash to expose the processed version to the attacker, which effectively hides part of the key information stored in the nodes. Moreover, the one-way nature of the hash function makes it more impossible for an attacker to break through other communication links in the network through hiding of some information, thereby effectively improving the security of the link.Secondly,a hybrid key pre-distribution scheme is proposed. The scheme is a hybrid key pre-distribution scheme consisting of a polynomial key pre-distribution scheme and a random key pre-distribution.The feature of this scheme is that the preloaded key generation material in the sensor node is divided into two parts. One part of it contains polynomials randomly selected from the pool of polynomials. The other part comes from the key calculated from the polynomial shares pre-loaded in the sensor node. The robustness of the random probability key pre-distribution scheme and the threshold resistance of the polynomial scheme are fully utilized. Finally, experimentsshow that the scheme achieves better results in terms of connectivity and anti-capture.Thirdly,this thesis proposes a key management scheme based on combined public key for clustered sensor networks. The combined public key technology is introduced into wireless sensor networks.Nodes generate a large number of keys through the combination of stored key matrices to save the limited resources of nodes. The combination of combined public key and node identification can effectively complete the authentication function and key agreement of the node without the third party participating in self-authentication.This thesis presents the model of key management schemes for key material initialization, key protocol, key update, nodes adding and removing.Different key agreement processes are designed according to the hierarchical structure of clustered wireless sensor networks and the energy difference of nodes Finally, the experimental results show that the scheme has achieved significant improvement in some performance.
