Research On The Influence Of University Library Website Based On Network Analysis Method

With the rapid development of network information technology,more and more university libraries have gradually improved their network systems by using information technology,and strive to make university libraries an information-based,digital and intelligent platform to facilitate teachers and students to learn knowledge,exchange ideas and share results.The university library website is another broader access point for university libraries.It is an extension of the time and space of university libraries,which makes it possible to use library resources more readily and conveniently.Therefore,the university library website is the representative of the university library.The research on the university library website can reflect the characteristic status of the university library.This paper mainly analyzes the URL co-occurrence network matrix of 200 university library websites in China by using URL co-occurrence network analysis method and social network analysis method.The purpose is to reveal the network structure of the university library website and the influencing factors of the importance of the university library website.The first part introduces the research background and significance of the thesis,and combs the literature on URL co-occurrence network analysis at home and abroad,expounds the research content and research innovation points,and introduces the data collection and analysis methods used in this paper.The second part is the collection and sorting of data,and validates the collated data,and builds the URL co-occurrence network matrix and community map of the university library website.The third part uses the social network analysis method to analyze the URL co-occurrence network data of the university library website from the whole,subgroup and individual.On the basis of this analysis,the importance of the university library website and the relevant facts data of the university library published by the Library and Information Work Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of the Ministry of Education are analyzed to explore the factors affecting the importance of the university library website.Through the above analysis of the university library website,it is found that the links between the websites of university libraries are relatively wide.The proportion of direct links between university library websites is 55%,and there are at most 3 intermediaries between university library websites that are not directly linked,indicating that there is effective communication between university libraries.In addition,the research in this paper finds that the purchase cost of electronic resources has the highest correlation with the centrality of the university library website.The library's increased investment in database and electronic literature resources will help to improve the influence of the university library website.
