Design And Implementation Of Teaching Management System Based On Work Flow

In recent years,colleges and universities in China have begun to expand enrollment frequently,resulting in the increasing size of students,which poses a great challenge to the actual teaching management.Aiming at the problems existing in the traditional teaching management mode,this paper designs and implements a workflow based teaching management system.The main work of this thesis includes:Firstly,the origin,application fields,related concepts and main features of workflow technology are analyzed in detail.The basic concepts,architecture,reference model and implementation steps of workflow engine are introduced in detail,and the B/S architecture and UML unified modeling language used in this thesis are expounded.Secondly,the design and development goal of the system is determined.The functional requirements of the system are analyzed in detail from three roles including student,teacher and teaching manager.The system is divided into two parts: online education and online examination.In addition,the non functional requirements of the system are also analyzed in detail,and use case analysis of the system is carried out from three kinds of user roles.Then,the overall architecture of the system is designed,and the main functions of the system are divided into four modules including teaching information,student information,teacher information and examination information.Later the system functions of each functional module are analyzed and designed in detail.The corresponding data model and control model are set up,and the workflow engine of the educational service businesses designed.A prediction algorithm for student achievement based on decision tree is proposed.In the proposed algorithm,the calculation time and accuracy of prediction are reduced by introducing equivalent infinitesimals and equilibrium coefficients.Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed method reduces computational time overhead compared with traditional methods.Finally,based on the example of teaching management in colleges and universities,a teaching management system based on workflow is implemented based on the development mode of the three tier system architecture.Among them,the online teaching part realizes the integration and sharing of teachers' curriculum resources.Students can download their interesting teaching resources at any time.Teachers can answer students' questions online.Online exams have realized the functions of teachers' setting questions online,releasing examination information,students' online examination,and performance query.The system test results show that the system can run normally,achieve the desired goal,and meet the original requirements.It will be able to maximize the sharing of teaching resources and reduce the cost of education and teaching.The performance of the prediction algorithm based on decision tree is obviously better than that of the existing algorithm.
