Microwave frequency multiplication is the commonly used technology in frequency source,in the design and realization of the frequency source is often need to use multiple ways to get high stability signal is done advocate frequency,frequency multiplier directly affects the main performance index of frequency source,and the stand or fall of frequency source determines the system of the machine performance,often require multiplier have better spurious suppression,the deterioration of the additional phase noise is extremely low,so the subject design has very important significance and practical value.This paper studies the 90-time frequency multiplier chain from 100 MHz input signal to 9000 MHz.This frequency multiplier chain is composed of a cascade of separated frequency multiplier circuits.Each separated frequency multiplier circuit is the basis of frequency multiplier link,which is also the main content of this paper.In this paper,nonlinear frequency multiplier theory is adopted to analyze the principle of nonlinear resistive frequency multiplier and non-linear reactance frequency multiplier,and detailed index performance analysis is carried out for frequency multiplier of different components,and the circuit scheme of X-band frequency multiplier of 90 times frequency multiplier chain is finally determined.Multiple chain using three times frequency way,1th and 2th using schottky diode respectively complete 3 times,2 times the frequency,the first two levels of frequency doubling circuit using four schottky diode stack push-pull circuit structure,using the frequency selective filter network respectively in different port filter output 300 MHz signal,Through theoretical analysis with simulation computation,the assembly after the elaborate debugging,using frequency doubling of the frequency multiplication circuit,single frequency doubling the final output signal phase noise degradation is less than 0.4dB;The third step diode was adopted to realize frequency 15 times.By the end of the X-band frequency doubling chain circuit test: the output 9000 MHz signal phase noise worse 1.1 dB,spurious suppression 81 dBc,harmonic suppression.46 dBc.This topic of the paper test shows that the 90 th of X-band frequency Multiplier chain circuit is successful,especially the schottky diode heap of push-pull double frequency circuit,the circuit structure in different port with frequency selective filter network respectively output can inhibit the odd and even harmonic frequency doubling signal,select the appropriate frequency selective filter network can provide simple and feasible design for frequency synthesis source reference.The idea of push-pull multiple frequency circuit design can be fully applied to microwave chip integration,which is of great guiding value to practical engineering practice.
