Up to March 2018,the subscribers on 4G cellular network have reached 1.11 billion,73.5% of the total mobile subscribers.However,some quality problems still remain with 4G network,which require the optimization engineers to solve by adjusting the antennas or parameters of the eNode B.To accomplish the network optimization tasks,the optimization engineers must attend the technical trainings,utilize the specialized equipment and accumulate years of working experience.And the optimization projects normally demand highly competent staff to complete in a relatively longer time period.This thesis is about the optimization testing system designed and developed to address the above difficulties and issues with 4G network optimization.The system integrate smart mobile devices,eNode B API servers,and data servers,based on multi-dimensional automated optimization algorithm with inputs from multiple neighboring cell information.Smart mobile devices are responsible to interact with end users,display the information of neighboring 4G eNode B,provide the optimization result from the corresponding eNode B and upload the 4G testing data collected during the testing.The eNode B API server will enhance the functionalities of the mobile devices,provide the detailed eNode B information to the maintenance staff in the Operation and Maintenance Center,and provide the optimization recommendations to the optimization engineers.The data servers store the testing data transferred from the smart mobile devices,and provide the statistical analysis and display of the data,which can be used for future optimization work.By using this system in the working environment,effective optimization recommendations can be provided to solve a majority of customer complaints.This system is to be further promoted and utilized in O&M area. |
