Research On The Consistency Of Temporal RDF Data

The Resource Description Framework(RDF)is a meta-data model recommended by the W3 C for building an infrastructure of machine-readable semantics for the data on the Web.In recent years,the rapid development of the semantic Web and the widespread application of the RDF,that produced a large of RDF data which containing the temporal information,and involved the key data in various aspects field.The consistency of temporal RDF data can improve the accuracy of temporal RDF data.The detection and recovery on consistency of the temporal data also help to improve the reliability and efficiency of database system.The consistency of temporal RDF data can provide a reliable guarantee for temporal information processing and improve the efficiency of temporal information processing,especially for the information systems,such as e-commerce,data mining,decision support system,and so on.It has more and more important significance and guarantee.This paper studies the modeling method of introducing time information to the traditional RDF data and establishes temporal RDF data model by adding effective time labels,also puts forward the methods and approachs to detect and restore the consistencyofthe temporal RDF data.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the existing temporal data modeland the research on the inconsistency of effective time,the temporal RDF data model is established by adding the valid time label to extend the RDF three tuple.(2)In order to classify and define the inconsistency of effective time information for temporal RDF data with effective time,the causes of various inconsistencies are analyzed,and algorithms for detecting and repairing each type of inconsistency are proposed.(3)Analyzing the inconsistencies that may be caused by the change operations of updating,inserting,and deleting temporal RDF data.Each type inconsistency caused by the updated temporal RDF data is detected and repaired.The consistency of the temporal RDF data is ensured by preprocessingwhich has been analyzed and verified by the experiment.
