With the rapid development of mobile communication networks,the demand for data traffic is increasing.Traditional cellular network has been unable to meet people's normal communication.Many office and home areas appear“busy”and“blind spots”phenomenon.To solve these problems,researchers have proposed the concept of heterogeneous networks,which introduce a large number of low-power nodes into traditional cellular networks.Heterogeneous network can effectively solve the problem of communication capacity and coverage,but more complex inter-cell interference problem comes from it.Power control is one of the effective methods to solve the interference problem.Therefore,this paper focuses on the power control technology in heterogeneous networks.Firstly,a brief overview of the power control technology and related concepts of heterogeneous networks in LTE are summarized.Secondly,since the performance of power control technology strongly depends on the configuration of parameters,this paper focuses on the influence of the configuration of power control parameters on the cellular network.We divided the research of power control parameters into two parts:the research of power control parameters in single-layer networks and the study of power control parameters in heterogeneous networks.Finally,a heterogeneous network power control scheme based on small cell location is proposed.In proposed scheme the parameter P_o of the traditional power control is changed to a variable,and P_o changes with the pass loss from the small cell to the macro eNodeB.Then sets the uplink transmit power to the small cell.Finally,the proposed scheme is verified.The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the throughput of the macro cell and the small cell at the same time,so that the performance of the two cells is balanced.
