Design And Implementation Of Hedge Fund Investment And Management System

With the development of financial industry,trading volume has been increasing on a daily basis,especially for the hedge fund.In order to help high net worth clients gain more profit tha n the market return,diversified strategies are adopted in managing hedge funds.Given the various financial instruments and fragmented market,it is often time-consuming to gather and manage information for products in the portfolios.So different systems are required to manage different financial products,which largely reduce the efficiency,leading to potential losses.To solve the problems above,the thesis introduces a Hedge Fund Investment Management System.It begins with the developing background and research significance,followed by a review of current research home and abroad.In the requirement analysis section,details regarding system target and the non-functional requirement are provided.The whole system consists of two subsystems,TaskSchedule Subsystem and Security Management Subsystem..NET framework is used for the design and implementation of the system.The TaskSchedule subsystem will run as a Windows Service on the server,automatically coordinating the loading of data and the generating of reports.The Security Management Subsystem is a B/S mode based on RIA that combined Silverlight technique and Prism framework to enrich the interface and enhance the scalability.It includes six functional modules,namely System Management Module,Investment Management Module,Report Management Module,Operation Management Module,Homepage Module and About Module,which serve to achieve a one-stop management on investment related data.The last part of the thesis will be a presentation and analysis of the functional test and performance test.
