As the fifth-generation WiFi standard,the IEEE802.11ac wireless LAN standard not only provides up to 1 Gbps of throughput,but also has backward compatibility.The IEEE 802.11ac standard does not standardize the multi-antenna layout of MIMO.Preliminary studies have shown that a distributed antenna layout can achieve greater channel capacity and higher cell coverage than centralized.In this regard,the paper studies the signal model of distributed MIMO under the IEEE802.11ac standard,studies and verifies the channel equalization technology of distributed IEEE802.11ac.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,systematically summarized and contrastively analyzed the research status of MIMO channel equalization technology.Based on the evolution of IEEE802.11 WLAN communication standard,especially IEEE802.11ac standard,the paper expounded the research status of centralized and distributed MIMO signal model and channel equalization technology,which provides a reference for the derivation of the subsequent distributed IEEE802.11 ac signal model.Secondly,designed a channel equalization scheme of distributed IEEE802.11ac.Based on the IEEE802.11ac standard,derived the four-shot four-received signal models under three distributed MIMO channel models,and designed the channel estimation scheme based on the signal model.Simulated and analyzed the performance of the zero-forcing and minimum mean square error channel equalization algorithm.Although the minimum mean square error is 3?7dB higher than the zero-forcing equalization algorithm,considering the implementation complexity,the low-complex zero-forcing equalization algorithm is chosen as the channel equalization scheme.Finally,performed the logical implementation and hardware testing of distributed IEEE802.11ac channel equalization.Based on the IEEE802.11ac WIFI prototype design project,the paper implemented the distributed IEEE802.11ac channel equalization scheme and tested it on the FPGA-based hardware test platform to verify the function of the channel equalization module.The system performance tested under the three modulation modes of QPSK,64QAM and 256QAM are completed under different transceiver modes and antenna configurations.Among them,the four-shot four-received QPSK link in various transceiver modes and the four-shot four-received 64QAM link in the distributed transmission and distribution mode can achieve the requirement of a packet error rate of less than 10%.The paper deduces the signal model of distributed IEEE802.11ac,studies and verifies its channel equalization technology.It has certain reference significance for the research of distributed MIMO technology under IEEE802.11ac standard.
