In recent years, with the continuous improvement of network technology, wireless sensor networks are widely applied in different fields and play an increasingly important role in all walks of life.To enhance the defend ability of wireless sensor networks against various kinds of security threats, the combination of trust management mechanism from e-commerce and wireless sensor networks has become a hot pot in network security research.Considering the limitations caused by the characteristics of wireless sensor networks and sensor nodes with shortcomings of trust management mechanism, this research focuses on improving the reliability and performance of trust-based secure routing protocols in wireless sensor networks. The specific contributions are as follows:First of all, this paper presents a trust-aware secure routing model with multi-attributes for wireless sensor networks.According to the trust metrics corresponding to the four attributes of communication, data, energy and recommendation, sensor nodes monitor the behavior of neighbor nodes in promiscuous mode to achieve comprehensive and reliable trust evaluation between nodes.Secondly,in order to enhance the trust management model of wireless sensor network against the malicious nodes adopting complex and mutable attack strategies, this paper adopts a sliding time window model which is able to detect the attack frequency and attack strength of malicious nodes to complete the direct trust assessment.Combined with time decay factor, the secure routing model proposed in this paper can effectively cope with attackers employing high-frequency & low-intensity and low-frequency & high-intensity attack strategies respectively. Finally,to improve the efficiency of wireless sensor network in maintaining and updating secure routes, this project divides the reduction of routing credibility caused by the behavior of malicious nodes into two cases: single-node attack and multi-node collusion. For the two cases, two methods, namely timely report from intermediate nodes and periodic feedback from sink nodes, are adopted respectively to shorten the time consumption for route updating. This project uses related parameters of wireless sensor network and MATLAB to carry out simulation experiments.Aiming at the trust management part in wireless sensor network secure routing protocol proposed in this paper,we simulate hostile simulation scenarios which include attackers aiming at different attributes of sensor nodes to verify the resilience of proposed model against related malicious attacks. In view of the trust-based secure routing protocol for wireless sensor networks,we compare the proposed model with other existing secure routing models on characteristics such as average throughput, network lifetime and average routing update time consumption. The simulation results show that our proposed model has better routing performance.
