Design And Implementation Of TV Station High-definition Studio Broadcast System

Although digital HDTV technology is just put forward for a few years,a large number of commercial HD products and system applications have emerged.Many TV stations in China have purchased HD shooting and production equipments,and the demand for HD programming,broadcasting and transmission is becoming increasingly urgent.Hangzhou will host the Asian Games in 2022 as well as a series of important activities,but the existing SD studio broadcasting system has already not met the current media business development requirements of HCRT(HANGZHOU CULTURE RADIO TELEVISION GROUP),so it is essential to implement HD transformation,and the HD studio broadcasting system is generated just in such a context.This system is an integral part of the comprehensive HD digital production and broadcasting transformation project of Hangzhou TV station.Through the relevant literature reviewing,and the analysis of the status quo of HD digital television technology at home and abroad,as well as the current development status of HD digital television technology in China,the research goal of HD studio broadcasting system is reached.In the research,the related technologies and implementation methods involved in the system are analyzed,and the development techniques and tools are determined,of which C/S and B/S structure is used as the system,Red Hat,Windows 2008 Server operating system is chosen as the development platform,Java and Microsoft Visual C ++ and etc are selected as the development tools,and Oracle Database is used as the database.Meanwhile,the duties,functions and demands of channels' news and columns are investigated,a comprehensive demand analysis of the system is made,and a detailed design is carried out for the system from entity relationships,processes,modules,database tables,and other aspects.The packaging migration module will acquire the manuscripts,video-audio materials,subtitles and other information completed by News NLE System for HD studio broadcasting system,the studio broadcasting module will set up the sequence of programs,the broadcasting control module will play the corresponding video-audio materials according to the sequence of programs,and the studio recording module will record the living pictures from studio and the video-audio materials at the same time.The collaborative operation of all modules will achieve the overall function of studio broadcasting system.Moreover,we have also participated in the system software testing,system installation and debugging,and software training for the broadcasting control personnel of the studio.HD studio broadcast system has been put into operation officially in the General Channel of HCRT.The digital HD of programs has been achieved through the official operation of this system,and HD digital TV technology has been used in all links,such as filming,collection,production and broadcasting of news materials,so as to greatly promote the definition and audio quality of video,and bring better audio-visual enjoyment to the general public of Hangzhou.The studio broadcasting system based on “Media Convergence”,“Hyper-convergence” and “Cloud Computing” has become a new trend with the development of computer technology,and the future HD studio broadcasting system should develop in a cross-media,cross-platform and virtualization direction.
