Monocular vision is very important in vision measurement,because it has the advantages of simple structure,less calibration procedure,non-contact,low cost,etc.Compared to multi-sensor measurement,it can avoid difficulty of small field of view,the complexity of the calibration process and the difficulty of matching.This paper presents the measurement method of the single view to infer the methods of 3-D Image reversing system,3-D measurement of the surface targets and the calculation of bend curvature based on sequence of consecutive video log images.The main research work in this paper is as follows:1.3-D Image reversing system.Traditional reversing image system can only achieve two-dimensional measurement.In order to help the driver see rear obstacle height,this paper presents a 3-D image reversing system based on a single image.The core idea is to use the plane calibration method achieving 2-D measurement,and then add height calculation model to realize 3-D measurement.Experiments show that the method of this paper can't only obtains traditional image reversing system,but also effectively measures the height of the target on the road.According to the driver's needs,this reversing video system can not only switch perform 2-D and 3-D reversing image,but also select sparse and dense reversing image line.2.The 3-D measurement of surface targets.According to the insufficient of water measurement methods,this paper presents the measurement algorithm of surface targets based on a single view and designed calibration device with a leveling function.The basic principle of the measurement method is to use a plane parallel to the water to calculate the surface normal vector,and then use the principle of back projection with plane intersecting and height calculation model to solve the 3-D coordinates of the target surface.This paper uses RGEM error estimation algorithm to evaluate the measured results.Experiments show that the proposed measuring method can exact reconstruct surface targets of big scene.3.The calculation of bend curvature based on sequence of consecutive video log images.According to the insufficient of the road curvature calculation method,the core idea is to use sequence of consecutive video log images to obtain more data of the section of a longer way,which is obtained by curve matching.And then,we use the effectively data to calculate the curvature.The Experiments demonstrate that the proposed method is practical,reliable,and accurate to compute different road curvatures.The results also demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms single image based method especially for moderate and slow curvature computation.
