In recent years, the research and application of underwater acoustic sensor network has been widely developed. The marine economy has been enhanced and developed rapidly with the development of the attention of the word marine rights and interests. However, these behaviors have a considerable impact on marine ecology and the normal life of the creatures in the sea, which is a great challenge for marine work researchers. These problems limit the development of acoustic network.Reasonable and effective resolutions are needed desperately. In this thesis, marine mammals and manmade acoustic system share the limit acoustic spectrum. To overcome the interference among these two systems,a novel marine mammal-friendly spectrum allocation algorithm related routing protocol are proposed dedicate for underwater cognitive acoustic network.Cognitive technology is applied to underwater acoustic sensor networks to avoid interference between the sensor nodes and the marine mammals. Finally, the marine mammal-friendly cognitive acoustic networks spectrum allocation mechanism and algorithm and bio-friendly cognitive underwater routing are designed. The marine mammals are considered as the primary user and the sensor node is used as the secondary user, which can achieve the channel sharing of the primary user and the secondary user,as well as maximizing the spectrum efficiency. And the results indicate that the scheme can overcome the routing failure problem caused by marine mammals' interference.Simulation results show that the marine mammal-friendly cognitive acoustic spectrum allocation algorithm not only can avoid interference between the sensor nodes and the marine mammals, but also bandwidth efficiency and system capacity are improved by 37.4% and 34.2% respectively. And the new routing protocol improves the delivery rate of data packets and reduces the energy consumption of nodes. And also improves the performance of end-to-end delay. These new algorithm and protocol provide some theoretical and practical value for realizing the friendly cognition of underwater acoustic network communication.
