The loop antenna will serve long-term service in harsh space conditions after it has been deployed.Under the influence of solar radiation and alternating low-temperature heat sink and other factors,the variation of creeping or aging of the antenna component material occurs,which will lead to thermal deformation of the antenna components,cracks and even fracture.In order to explore how the failure of components affects the performance of the antenna,this article has carried on the thorough research.The concrete content is as follows:The performance index of the loop antenna is introduced.The possible failure modes of the antenna in the normal service environment are summarized.According to the main failure modes and their influence on the service performance of the antenna,the evaluation criterion of service performance under the antenna failure condition is determined,surface accuracy and structural rigidity.Taking into account the characteristics of the antenna with geometric nonlinearity,finite element method has been used to analyze the failure of different kinds of components.Since the original failure analysis method is complicated and timeconsuming because of the large amount of analysis data,a parametric finite element analysis method based on ABAQUS is proposed to improve the failure analysis efficiency.Firstly,the loop antenna is parameterized,the antenna nodes are represented and numbered according to parameters such as the antenna aperture.Secondly,the components are connected according to the actual structure of the component.Then the components are connected and the material properties are completed.Finally,the MATLAB program was used to realize the automatic programming and simulation of ABAQUS input files,and the performance parameters of surface precision and antenna fundamental frequency under different conditions were output.The influence of different components on the orbit performance of the antenna under failure conditions is analyzed.The quantitative results of different components' failure on the antenna performance are also given.Among them,the failure of components after the antenna performance mainly depends on the type and location of failure components.When the failure of adjacent components with the fixed end failed,the antenna performance degradation worse than other position components.Within the analyzed range,the change in antenna performance is not sensitive to the number of failures of a battens or diagonals.When two battens fail,the effect of antenna performance depends mainly on the position of the failed bar relative to the fixed end,not on the relative positions of the bars.
