Fiber Bragg Grating sensors(FBGs)has been widely employed in numerous areas,such as aerospace systems,oil and electricity industry,medical and biological industry,because of their characteristics,such as simple structure,strong to electromagnetic interference,corrosion resistance,high stability,easy to build network.However,their temperature sensitivity is limited by their material caused they are not suitable in some scene.So this paper focuses on the sensitivity of FBGs and the network build by FBGs.The work contents include:This paper introduces recently the trend of FBGs research worldwide;summarizes several kinds of common optical sensors and their application scenario;introduces three common multiplexing technology in building sensors network and compares the difference between optical communication system and sensors system;using ideal waveguide model deduces the coupled mode equation and analyzes the working principle of Fiber Grating.First,introduces the principle of FBGs sensitization and several ways of FBGs sensitization;designs a sensitized FBGs covered by polymers,using Optic-Grating simulated normal FBGs and sensitized FBGs covered by silicon rubber,epoxy resin and polydimethylsiloxane,summarized that: Compares three sensitized FBGs' s sensitivity with normal FBGs which can improve FBGs' s sensitivity 1.7,2.7 and 8.6 times;optimizes an algorithm for normal FBGs;Secondly,finds out optimized algorithm can restrain the sidelobe of normal FBGs and reduce the spectra of FBGs about 0.2 nm,it has high adaptability;using Optic-System software simulated the network of FBGs.Compares the difference of apodized FBGs and unapodized FBGs,sensitized FBGs and unsensitized FBGs,and the optimized algorithm can improve 15? accuracy of detection.Finally,simulates and analyses the spectrum of series network,parallel network and seriesparallel network;calculates the power loss of series network,parallel network and series-parallel network;simulates multiplex network while there are 4 FBGs and 8 FBGs in the network,verifies the effect of series-parallel network on network stability.
