In addressing the corrosion issue occurred in naval aviation equipments which typically operate under long-term high salt and high humidity circumstance,we proposed and fabricated a series of pH sensors based on RuO2-TiO2 liquid,multi-channel solid-state modified RuO2-TiO2and solid-state RuO2-IrO2 films via the polymer precursor method,respectively.The electrochemical properties of pH sensors were characterized.In addition,the durability of pH sensors under high salt and high humidity ocean environment was studied by employing the salt fog box.To overcome the disadvantages of the traditional glass pH electrode,a simple internally liquid filled pH sensor was designed.This pH sensor filled with RuO2-TiO2?70-30 mol%?liquid was prepared using a cost-effective and convenient polymer precursor method.The results indicated that the pH sensor exhibited good sensitivity,good linearity,short response time,good circulability and low hysteresis potential.Additionally,it is found that the temperature and Na+,K+,Cl-had little influence on the pH sensor.The sensor performed good potential response and durability under the salt spray environment.Next,in order to further improve the stability of internally liquid filled pH sensor,a multi-channel all-solid pH sensor was designed.Also,we modified the fabrication process of Ag/AgCl reference electrode and RuO2-TiO2?70-30?mol%hydrogen ion sensitive electrode.Again,the multi-channel solid-state modified RuO2-TiO2 pH sensor was prepared using a polymer precursor method.The obtained pH sensor possessed a good four-channel sensitivity of around51.2mV/pH.Each channel of the sensor had good repeatability,short response time,circulability and spatial response.Additionally,the temperature and Li+,Na+,K+exerted negligible effect on the pH sensor performance.This pH sensor was demonstrated to possess excellent durability in the micro-liquid environment.Afterwards,to hardness the contact between sensor electrode and sensor shell,a lamellar structured solid-state sensor based on RuO2-IrO2 film was designed.The sensitivity of the pH sensor reached a high level of 52.0mV/pH,and the linearity was above 0.99.The pH sensor showed short response time,good repeatability,circulability and small hysteresis potential.The effect of temperature on pH sensor performance was negligible.Moreover,the impact of Li+,Na+,K+,Ca2+,Mg2+andSO42-on the sensor can be neglected,and the pH sensor proved to have excellent durability and good stability under the salt fog environment.
