It has been a quarter of a century since the concept of “Virtual Community” was formally put forward.During this period, many scholars at home and abroad have been enthusiastic about the research of “Virtual Community”.It is unquestionable that the research results are fruitful and bountiful. However, the author believes that there are some differences to the visiting principles and constructive thinking of "Virtual Community" in different disciplines. Therefore, there are totally different academic sights in the research orientation. This paper attempts to use Goffman' s “Daily Contact Theory” to explore the micro-interaction order in “Virtual Community”,and it puts forward the concept of “Virtual Daily Contact”.In the course of this research, the author uses two research methods that are “Constructing Theory Model” and “Virtual Ethnography” to analyze the components and internal structure of “ Virtual Daily Contact”.The author also demonstrates the dynamic mechanism of “Virtual Daily Contact” on the basis of Goffman's “Daily Contact Theory”.Finally, the author gives the necessary hints about the entanglement and divergence between “Virtual Daily Contact”and traditional “Face-to-Face Daily Contact”.Due to the study of “Virtual Daily Contact” in this paper, the author believes that “Virtual Community” has changed the situation forms of “Daily Contact” in traditional communities. That is to say that the situation of daily contact has been changed from a relatively closed and saturated “theatre situation” to a more open and sparse “square situation”.The change of situation will inevitably cause the distance and contrast to individuals and groups in their cognitive, attitudinal and behavioral aspects of self-presentation in daily contact activities. In my opinion, traditional “Face-to-Face Daily Contact” is like a delicate theatrical one-act play, while the “Virtual Daily Contact” in the virtual community more seems like an impromptu square flash dance.
