Wireless sensor networks(Wireless Sensor Network)is widely used in many fields in recent years,such as military,agriculture,environmental protection and so on.Along with the development of networking technology,wireless sensor networks could be satisfied with much more application scenarios.In order to meet the various needs of environmental applications,the design of wireless sensor network routing protocols should to pay attention to many factors.In many cases,since the mobility of nodes or obstructions,link quality may deteriorate and cause a route interruption.Meanwhile,the nodes of the wireless sensor network have limited energy,so the insufficient energy of routing node may lead to link suspension.Power consumption of a wireless network mainly from data transmission,therefore,during the routing protocol design,it should consider the link quality,the residual energy of nodes and the power of data transmission as routing metrics,and design to a protocol which can balance these three factors.AODV routing protocol is a plane distance vector routing protocol,widely used in wireless sensor networks.The AODV routing protocol selection mechanism is too simple,do not considering the link quality,residual energy of nodes and transmission consumption,so they are not well adapted to complex application environments,likely to cause routing interrupts,it can also bring about the reduction of data delivery rate and increase of network latency.Particularly in high node density,heavy load and dynamic networks.Therefore,we should improve AODV protocol to ensure the stability of its routing protocol and reduce the power consumption.In this paper,propose the link quality and energy efficiency priority cross-layer routing protocol based on AODV.By introducing the MAC layer node data link quality and competitive channel nodes to calculate the energy generated by transmission.Based on routing building phase,the link quality,residual energy and transmission consumption consumed as a routing metric,and take link quality and power,network load balancing,improve routing stability into account.At the same time,this protocol adds a route maintenance and route local repair mechanism to prevent an interruption caused by the source node produce route flooding,it can affect the normal network communications and increase the burden of network.By simulation in the IEEE 802.15.4 simulator through Matlab,LECR-AODV protocol compared with AODV protocol,DSR protocol and MTEC.Analysis node mobility,communication load and node density change on routing protocol performance respectively.Verify LECR-AODV protocol can improve data delivery rate effectively,reduce the end-to-end latency and improve network stability.
