With the rapid development of wireless communication systems technology,RF power amplifier is an important part of wireless communication system.The stable operation of the amplifier will determine the quality of the platform running.Among them,the RF power amplifier as a part of system,the largest energy-consuming components.Power amplifier efficiency determines the power consumption of the entire system.Therefore enhance the efficiency of RF power amplifier can effectively reduce energy consumption.Research and analysis of high-efficiency amplifier system can save energy consumption.This thesis will focus on efficiency enhancement about the linear amplification with nonlinear components(LINC)system of class F power amplifiers.There are two non-linear components can be used in the linear amplification system that can effectively improve the efficiency and linearity of the power amplifier,with its unique technology which has a high research value.The main content of this thesis is to discuss the LINC,by understanding the current LINC technology research background.Through the analysis of the basic principles of the LINC technology,basic circuit configuration and system efficiency factors affecting understand.This thesis select class F power amplifier as power amplifier elements in the LINC system.This thesis focuses on enhancing the efficiency through the LoadPull and SourcePull technology of the class F power amplifier,and then simulation research and testing the Class F amplifier.This thesis focuses on Chireix power combiner by the addition of the load reactance for improving the efficiency of the LINC system.Then propose a method to improve the efficiency of the LINC system on the fallback method,during analysis on the basis of the impedance characteristics Chireix power combiner.
