Research On Optical Fiber Sensor Network With High Reliability Based On Optical Switch

In recent years,optical fiber sensing technology has received great attention.with the continuous changes in the application environment and monitoring variables,fiber-optic sensor networks have gradually evolved toward large-scale and multi-functional.In order to ensure the accuracy of the sensor data,fiber-optic sensor networks need to reuse a large number of fiber-optic sensors.A large number of optical fiber sensors are embedded in large structures and perform monitoring work under various harsh environments.At the same time,the more sensors that are multiplexed,the greater the probability of a network failure.This requires the FBG sensor network to have higher reliability and expandability.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the reliability of fiber-optic sensor networks.The main findings of this paper are as follows:1)By studying the theory of network reliability,a mathematical model based on probability for quantitative evaluation of optical fiber sensor network reliability is proposed and applied to three kinds of optical fiber sensor networks with Linear,star and ring topology respectively.The reliability of three kinds of optical fiber sensor networks is compared by simulation,and the availability of the model is verified.2)Optical fiber sensor networks based on triangular sensor units and square sensor units are proposed respectively.The topology and construction process of the network are described in detail.The repair process of the networks are analyzed when there are less than two link failures happened,and the reliability of the network is proved.The statistical rules of the two kinds of networks in the process of expansion are analyzed.3)Finally,the reliability evaluation model proposed is applied to evaluate the reliability of the network.The high reliability of the network is proved.
