With the rapid development of the information society, the spread of rumors in the network is becoming more and more complex. In order to predict and control the spread of rumors,we need to consider the propagation mechanism in the actual network and conduct modelling analysis. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the epidemic model and considering the transmission mechanism of information aging, the equation expressions of the network model,i.e.the change of the proportion of users in the network, are given. This paper analyses the decline of rumor influence in online social networks, that is,the decrease of people's interest in rumor dissemination, and establishes a rumor diffusion model. The scale-free and small-world networks are simulated to study the relationship between the number of States and the number of diffusion times.(2)In order to suitable for the spread of rumors in the actual network, two models of simultaneous spread of rumors in the network are proposed. On the basis of the SIR epidemic model, the SIR model of double rumor spread is established. In the case of uniform network, the threshold expression is deduced and simulated in the small-world network model. The relationship between diffusion scale and diffusion threshold(basic reproduction number)is obtained, which verifies the existence of diffusion threshold in small-world network.(3)In order to further fit the actual network, the above model is extended to heterogeneous networks. In the case of heterogeneous network, the expression of threshold is deduced and simulated in scale-free network model. The relationship between diffusion scale and diffusion threshold(basic reproduction number)is obtained, which confirms the existence of threshold. The simulation results of MATLAB show that the first-order moments of network degree distribution,i.e.the average degree and the second-order moments, are important factors affecting the spread threshold of rumors in online social networks.
