With the development of passive positioning technology,passive positioning based on time delay estimation has become one of the research priorities.In passive positioning technology,the main research object is based on narrowband signals transmitted by civilian radio and broadcasting.The instantaneous bandwidth of narrowband signals is small.It is estimated that the delay of narrowband signals needs to exceed the Rayleigh limit of signals to achieve super resolution.The traditional time delay estimation is accompanied by the shortcomings of low estimation accuracy and low resolution.Therefore,this paper studies the super-resolution time delay estimation technology.The work and innovations of this article are organized as follows:(1)Implementation of super-resolution time delay estimation technique based on field test data.This paper first deduces the principle of super-resolution delay estimation,which lays a theoretical foundation for implementation.Because the super-resolution delay estimation algorithm is combined with the field test data for analysis,it has practical significance.Therefore,based on the theory of super-resolution delay estimation,it is implemented by using LabVIEW language.By analyzing its functional requirements and performance requirements,the direct and scattered waves of the input field data are obtained to obtain a super-resolution distance Doppler map,which can estimate the time delay of the target signal super-resolution and judge the motion state of the target.The accuracy,stability and super resolution of the results were verified by quantitative analysis.(2)Optimization of super-resolution delay estimation techniques and image processing of results.In view of the requirements of the actual system,this paper proposes two optimizations: one is to optimize the LabVIEW program to improve the computational efficiency and reduce the time complexity;the other is to perform image enhancement processing on the super-resolution distance Doppler results with different weighting functions.The image is more intuitive and easy to observe the motion state of the target and estimate the delay.(3)Design and implementation of multi-frequency parallel multi-resolution time delay estimation.In practical situations,it may be the case of estimating multiple frequency point delays at the same time.Here,two characteristics of multi-frequency point and parallel need to be reflected.Therefore,this paper adds a coprocessor PXIe-8830 to improve the computing power,and designs and implements multi-frequency parallel super-resolution delay estimation.Finally,the design is improved and optimized.The test results show that the multi-frequency parallel super-resolution delay estimation system has good advantages in computational performance,anti-interference,and super-resolution.
