Nowadays,smart phones are becoming indispensable in our life and it's like a part of our body.With the rapid development of smart phones,applications like mobile payment,navigation and positioning,mobile games,photograph emerged rapidly.At the same time,mobile phone camera industry is developing quite fast.In the past ten years,people's communication method has turned from using the original machine,pager,functional mobile phone to smartphone,and the update is proceeding constantly.The research direction of this paper is about the application of machine vision on smartphone camera module assembly line,using machines to take place of manual,so as to improve the yield of product and efficiency of production line,etc.,and to promote the rapid development of the whole industry.In this paper,I fully analyzed two stations which are quite difficult to understand in the process of camera module assembly,I gave an explanation step by step starting from the production process technology,the product surface materials,features,to the spatial aspects of production equipment and so on.And I took an evaluation test selection on hardware,such as machine vision industrial light source,camera,and industrial camera.Finally,chose 2 million pixels of MONO industrial camera,and cooperate with the special optical path design of parallel light,will feature points extracted from complex background,facilitate subsequent processing software algorithm.In terms of system software design,based on the LabVIEW platform,I firstly analyzed the basic algorithm that is commonly used in image processing of the detection system.Then I carried on the deep research on the threshold segmentation algorithm.Respectively on the image pretreatment,mask,binarization,corrosion and spot analysis algorithm to combine,in order to realize the automatic detection of the products.I extracted the effective information by analyzing the surface features.Finally,visual inspection system was set up after the debugging of visual hardware and LabVIEW software.By cooperating with mechanical movement parts of the equipment,the capacity and the yield of the production line can be increased significantly.
