The purpose of the MPLS is to improve forwarding efficiency,but with the emergence of many new technologies in the field of IP forwarding,such as hardware forwarding and network processors,the speed advantage of MPLS cannot be realized.With the emergence of many new application requirements in the network,relying on IP forwarding is difficult to meet actual needs.However,if the use of MPLS is flexible and expandable and combined with other technologies,it can meet the needs of new applications.Applications such as network television and video conferences require a point-to-multipoint data transmission method and require a differentiated service mode to provide different services to users at different qualities.Based on the RSVP protocol,P2 P tunnels established through the MPLS technology can achieve these requirements,but it will cause a large number of duplicate data packets to propagate in the network,severely blocking the network,and reducing the forwarding efficiency.In order to solve these problems,this paper studies and uses the extended RSVP-TE protocol to establish P2 MP tunnels to carry the network traffic transmissions of these emerging applications.In the process of implementing the P2 MP function based on RSVP protocol,the establishment of the tunnel is established by using the interaction between the Path and Resv messages in the RSVP protocol for the tunnel establishment problem.In the head node,a Path message is constructed based on the destination address and then calculated according to CSPF.Sending downstream,when the head node receives the Resv message,it completes the establishment of the tunnel;In the process of tunnel establishment,CRLSP best path selection problem is solvedby CSPF algrothm.The LSP established by the algorithm needs not only to consider the lowest The cost,at the same time,must also meet the constraint conditions of the tunnel on the link bandwidth,affinity attributes and other attributes;for path re-optimization issues,will periodically sense the topology changes in the network,re-send the destination address CSPF path calculation,when When the optimal route to the destination address changes,the Make-before-break mechanism seamlessly switches the tunnel for forwarding data traffic,first switching the data traffic to the new tunnel,and then waiting until the traffic is transmitted in the old tunnel.Remove the old tunnel when completed;use FRR technology for tunnel stability The key device and the key link are protected.When a fault occurs,it can be switched to the FRR backup tunnel prepared in advance to minimize the loss of data traffic.At the same time,in order to detect the occurrence of the fault as soon as possible,it is designed and implemented.The hello mechanism is used to detect link failures.By configuring the hello detection function,you can greatly improve the speed of fault detection and speed packet convergence.This paper designs and implements P2 MP function based on RSVP.The implement of thisfunction can be verified by the HCL simulator.The HCL simulator has programmability.We put the debug version file based on the RSVP protocol-based P2 MP function designed and implemented in this article under the HCL version folder,so that the HCL simulation The device can support P2 MP function.In order to verify the feasibility of the system,this article uses multiple virtual devices on the HCL virtual platform to simulate P2 MP networking tests.The verification passes the P2 MP tunnel establishment test,FRR protection test,path re-optimization test,and hello mechanism detection test.The results reached expectations and further confirmed the feasibility of the P2 MP function based on RSVP.
