The next-generation Internet architecture represented by Named Data Networking(NDN)has significant advantages in decentralization,mobility support,and security.NDN is an data-centric and consumer-driven emerging Internet communication architecture which establishes connectionless data retrieval ways through stateful forwarding planes.In the hotspot research of NDN,the mobility support problem of data producers has always been open.By extending the current NDN architecture,this paper designs and implements solutions for producer mobility support in three different scenarios.In a mobile communication scenario with infrastructures,mobilily support solutions are often implemented with anchored producer agents.The Tracing-based mobility support solution proposed in this paper establishes the connection between producers and rendezvous(RV)through secure Interest/Data exchanges to guide Interest that are routed to the RV or encounter the trace to find the location of the producer.From the perspectives of Trace establishment and maintenance,Interest forwarding strategy,and retransmission mechanism,this solution provides secure network layer support for mobility support,and designs application protocols for general mobile communication scenarios such as uploading,pushing,pulling,and sharing.Finally,we evaluated that the solution has better performance in terms of communication efficiency than Mapping-based Mobility Support(MMS).For mobile communication without infrastructures,we study two common NDN application scenarios—vehicular ad-hoc network(VANET)and Internet of Things(IoT),and explore them from the perspective of mechanism design and mechanism implementation.Under the constraints of the VANET,especially the traffic information dissemination in VANET,we learn the key challenges to solve this problem.The design problems of the traffic information communication scheme in VANET involve how to associate data with geographical location,how to improve data retrieval efficiency,how to adapt to a highly dynamic VANET environment,and how to mitigate wireless transmission collisions.In the solution proposed in this paper,the geographic information is bound to the data name by designing the NDN namespace,and an additional mechanism of proactive data pushing is proposed to improve the data retrieval efficiency.The wireless collision is mitigated by setting a random waiting timer and suppressing.The retransmission mechanism ensures the reliability of transmission in the dynamic network environment.Finally,the results of the data retrieval delay,data availability range and etc.are given through expirements,and we analyze and discuss them.IoT is one of the important application scenarios of NDN.we learn and apply the proposed NDN-Lite--a support library for the IoT with NDN.With nRF52840 DK and Android mobile phone,we build a real IoT environment to verify the secure bootstrapping protocol provided by NDN-Lite.We use NDN broadcast forwarding strategy to communicat among development boards and develop the data source verification.By the actual scenario experiments,we evaluated basic indicators such as effective transmission speed,packet loss rate and delay.
