Display technology has achieved significant high-speed development in modern times,Micro-LED display,as the next generation display technology based on highly stable GaN material,has the advantages of high luminous efficiency,good stability and high brightness,and has attracted extensive attention in scholars and research institutions of various countries.In this paper,the method of using blue Micro-LED to excite red and green quantum dots to achieve Micro-LED's colorization is studied.Firstly,a flexible blue Micro-LED display backplane for exciting red and green quantum dot pixels is designed and fabricated using PI material as the flexible PCB substrate.The resolution of the flexible blue Micro-LED backplane is 64?64,and the wavelength of blue light is 455 nm.The whole process of making this backplane includes the introduction and selection of Micro-LED chip,flexible substrate,drive mode and core driver chip,the design of PCB circuit of row drive module is given and the production and display effect of the flexible blue-light Micro-LED display backplane is shown.The method of using blue Micro-LED to excite red and green quantum dots to achieve Micro-LED's colorization not only fully utilizes the strengths of blue LED with high stability,luminous efficiency and brightness,but also avoids the short lifetime of blue quantum dots caused by its poor stability.Based on the blue-light Micro-LED display backplane,this paper successfully uses the blue-light Micro-LED display backplane with red and green photoluminescent quantum dots to achieve red and green monochrome color conversion.After the successful realization of monochrome color conversion,this paper introduces the ink-jet printing technology which has great prospects in the field of display,and carries out relevant printing experiments on the ink-jet printing quantum dots,and points out the problems that need attention in the ink-jet printing quantum dots and the problems that still need to be studied and solved.
