Study On The Shaping Mode Of The Screen Images Of Talent Show Contestants

From Super Girl to China's got talent,from The Voice of China to The Rap of China,the popular talent shows has produced a number of public figures.They have similar journey on the screen: preliminary,promotion,the final confrontation.Their stories are also very similar,ordinary boys or girls with great talent or being misunderstood,got through the trails and gained recognition.Programmers tend to deify the contestants and show the journey from the mass to the screen hero to the audience.From the view of programmer,the author summarized practical experience of The Brilliant Chinese,found that programmers shape the hero roles of the contestants based on rites of passage and hero mythological model.The first chapter mainly introduces the industry background of domestic talent show and the programmers are keen to create the tragic hero to show the contestants' toughness,positive and optimistic charm.The second chapter reviews the development of domestic and foreign talent shows.The third chapter briefly introduces the broadcast situation,changes and typical contestants of the Brilliant Chinese;The fourth chapter illustrates the meaning of the image and the screen image,practically details the screen image's three major components: the screen,the contestant's external performance,the audience's attention,then analyzes the forming process of the screen image and concluded that shaping external performance is shaping the screen image.On the basis of the rites of passage and hero myth model,the external performance of case analysis,the fifth chapter analyzes the contestants' external performances in the Brilliant Chinese and illustrates the basic model and operating pattern: stage,lighting,sound and other elements make the studio divine;the process design adopts the rites of passage to give the screen behavior of contestants and judges a sense of ritual and to make the contestant' change process natural;The talking part constructs the hero mythological model of the contestant's story and fully shows the growth of the contestants from ordinary people to screen hero.The sixth chapter mainly analyzes the existing problem of shaping mode: stereotypes make the audience tired,ratings have slumped,and programmers have quickly run out of the contestant resource,eventually the life cycle of talent show is shorten.Therefore,the author advice that programmers should consider the program life cycle,according to the changing of audience demand timely change shaping mode.Programmers can also change the content of talent shows,from searching the contestants to training the brilliant contestants,and exploit relative spinoff to prolong the life cycle of the talent show.
